Tithing is the tradition of pledging 10 percent of your income to the Church. This commitment helps to support our congregation year-round. You can set monthly, recurring deductions from your bank account using PayPal, or elect to bring your tithe to service each Sunday. Envelopes are available at each pew.
Holding its first service in 1901, the First Baptist Church of East Rochester is among one of the longest-running religious organizations in East Rochester. Known as the “little white Church on East Elm” the Church has served as a stalwart place of worship for the East Rochester community.
It’s home, more than 100 years old, requires several restoration projects; most pressing is the critical, urgent need for repairs to the roof. To help offset the cost of the our repairs, totaling more than $10,000, members of the Church are launching a fundraising campaign.
"Tithing is an excellent way to give back to our Church community and makes me feel more vested in the congregation. At the same time, it is also a way to thank God for the blessings He has given us." -Sue Greco, Church Member
